Power supply unit for powerful process laser with multilamp quantron

 

Application

It ensures process laser quantron pump lamp power supply from process three-phase network 380V with midpoint wire. Also it has air cooling by build-in fans.

 

Principle of action

Each lamp power supply realized by a separate supplier unit. Such engineering solution provide optimum pump mode of active element due to individual selection of currents in each quantron lamp. As a result maximum laser efficiency factor and required properties of output beam is achieved.


Life time extension achieved by smooth current buildup at power supplier enabling and smooth current decreasing at its disabling. Also “duty electric arc” mode is used. Power supplier operation block is foreseen in case of laser cooling system death.

 

Components

There is the remote pump lamp lightening unit in delivery set, which is placed near quantron. Indication of supplier current and voltage for every lamp is provided by means of pointer or digital indicator.
